With motor vehicle crashes being the leading cause of death among children, you can never be too careful with car seats. Here's a summary of the tips: 1. Effective June 1, 2016, motor vehicle accident victims, their families and their lawyers will face another revised scheme of accident benefits.  In keeping with the recent trend, the revised scheme does not benefit those for whom such legislation ought to protect.  Rather, it appears these changes are the worst yet and frighteningly, target those most seriously injured. Temporary HOV Lanes

From June 29 through to August 18, temporary HOV lanes will be in effect on highways in the Greater Toronto Area for the Pan Am Games. Motorists are encouraged to use public transportation during this period. Misuse of the lanes can result in a fine of $110 and three demerit points. Motorcycle Accidents in Ontario

A recent article on the Toronto Star's Wheels.ca website provides the Ontario Provincial Police's most recent statistics on motorcycle fatalities in Ontario. The article notes that the number of motorcycle fatalities was very high this year. As of August 18, there had been 26 fatal motorcycle collision compared to a total of 29 deaths in 2013.
