There's an interesting article we came across written by Gary Grant about the relationship between vehicle colour and accident risk.  It reads in part: Does the Colour of Your Car Make you More Likely to be Involved in an Accident? A decision of the Licence Appeal Tribunal (“LAT”) released in August 2017, A.H. and Belair, had very damaging results for seriously injured motor vehicle accident victims across Ontario until the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (“FSCO”) stepped in to correct the resulting injustice earlier this month. Wheels recently published a great article that provides some important tips on car seat safety. With motor vehicle crashes being the leading cause of death among children, you can never be too careful with car seats. Here's a summary of the tips: 1. Always ensure the straps are snug against your child, and make sure the car seat doesn't wiggle or move around 2. Effective June 1, 2016, motor vehicle accident victims, their families and their lawyers will face another revised scheme of accident benefits.  In keeping with the recent trend, the revised scheme does not benefit those for whom such legislation ought to protect.  Rather, it appears these changes are the worst yet and frighteningly, target those most seriously injured. The discussion of Ontario Regulation 251/15 (“O. Temporary HOV Lanes

From June 29 through to August 18, temporary HOV lanes will be in effect on highways in the Greater Toronto Area for the Pan Am Games. Motorists are encouraged to use public transportation during this period. Misuse of the lanes can result in a fine of $110 and three demerit points.
